Topic:  Child protection in Schools: How specialized eLearning can build critical capacity!

Child protection, or child abuse prevention, is a challenge for all schools worldwide. The most valuable way to prevent abuse in schools is to adequately train all employees. However, the diversity of school support staff can make training them complicated. So, we created ChildSafeguarding.com: an eLearning platform to train support staff in Child Protection available in multiple languages. This purpose-built platform and course was started in Singapore. In this webinar, we will discuss the challenges of using eLearning with support staff in schools, look at the decisions made to build the course and the platform, and talk about why Child Protection is a critical area of instruction for these employees. Participants will hear from the system’s architect and a Head of School will discuss the need for such instruction in our schools.
