Job Responsibilities
Job Purpose
The incumbent shall manage the Student Life and Residential Life matters and enhance student engagement in the school.
Job Description
- Effectively manage all programs and events under the Student Life portfolio.
- Facilitate rich and memorable student life and residential life experiences that help students develop work- readiness and leadership skills.
- Strengthen student engagement on campus, encourage and support student leadership.
- Fulfil and carry out NUS Student Organisation Staff Advisor Roles and Responsibilities.
- Establish and continue school traditions. This includes planning, organizing and executing events such as Orientation, Commencement, graduation dinners, cultural and sport activities, lectures, student conferences, and competitions.
- Support the enhancement of quality learning experience through the Singapore Experience programme.
- Nurture an active and vibrant student/residential life, including managing and partnering with faculty, Resident Assistants, student groups and student leaders.
- Contribute to the enhancement of a vibrant Residential Life at College Green.
- Plan and create content for webpages, social media, newsletters, etc.
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related work experience.
• Good communication (oral and written) skills and customer-service oriented.
• Organised and meticulous
• Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• Team player who is positive, self-motivated and resourceful
