Senior Manager, Experiential Learning


Job Responsibilities

- Conceptualize and plan experiential learning opportunities working with faculty, other academic units at Yale-NUS and external partners
- Develop symposia for student presentations along with evaluation tools and criteria for assessing learning outcomes of co-curricular experiences
- Work with faculty to ensure integration of outside of the classroom learning with themes of the curriculum and areas of faculty research and expertise
- Oversee integration of experiential learning programs across different Centre for International & Professional Experience (CIPE) teams and develop cross-team programming, particularly in the areas of exchange and language programmes
- Lead the review of all Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) agreements between the College and its semester exchange partners. Update agreement terms based on current legal guidance and the College’s strategic priorities.
- Manage all insurance, health and safety matters for student programs including organizing and conducting health and safety site visits, briefings and orientation
- Organize logistics and administrative support for local and overseas field trips including insurance, travel arrangements, relevant work authorizations and visa documents
- Responsible for documentation and communications regarding co-curriculum programs, including content for website, newsletters and marketing of programs
- Develop and coordinate the program evaluation and assessment tools used across CIPE teams; manage databases of co-curricular programs and direct analysis of data for reporting purposes
- Work closely with the College’s Public Affairs office to showcase and highlight CIPE achievements and key events
- Any other duties as assigned


- Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s degree in a relevant field is an advantage
- At least 8 years of experience in higher education
- Candidates with more years of experience may be considered for Associate Director
- Knowledge of residential liberal arts environment preferred
- Experience conceptualizing and implementing programming, both in the field and in the setting of higher education
- Experience in program design and evaluation
- Experience in risk assessment methodologies
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative data analysis
- Ability to advise students about co-curricular and international opportunities
- Demonstrated track record of working with faculty and external partners
- Ability to integrate intellectual content with experiential components
- Experience preparing students for off-campus experiences and helping students integrate experiential learning into their on-campus experience
- Able to work in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proven ability to handle logistics and administrative duties, including deliver programs on budget
- Must be able to work on multiple projects and juggling shifting priorities
