Eco Exploration & Social Engagement

Combine natural wonder with purposeful learning in this East Java adventure. From witnessing the sunrise at Mount Bromo to supporting local education initiatives, students will explore environmental science, local industries, and the power of community action.

Day 1: Arrival, apple-picking at Apples Garden, visit home industry apple processing, activities at Eco Green and Jatim Park 2
Day 2: Building “gubuk baca” for local communities and fun learning at local school; activities at home industries of cow milking, composting and biogas
Day 3: Explore Bromo Mountain, Fun activity at Angkut Museum (a collection of thousands of original transportation models from era to era, including the excitement on Broadway with professional dancers with real USA/Broadway feels)
Day 4: Free program

Place-Based Learning: Environmental observation at Mt. Bromo and local eco parks.
Service Learning: Building and supporting community libraries (gubuk baca) and teaching local students.
Hands-On Practice: Engagement in cow milking, composting, and small-scale biogas production.
Interdisciplinary Integration: Applied learning across science, humanities, language, and arts.
Interactive Learning: Museum visits with thematic zones and performance-based storytelling.
Social Awareness Building: Encouraging critical thinking around local challenges and community development.
