Welcome to the Singapore Education Network (SEN)

1. Acceptance of Terms
By clicking “Log In,” “Create Account,” or submitting any forms available on the SEN website (https://www.sgeducationnetwork.org/), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before completing your registration or submitting any information through the platform.
2. Nature of SEN Membership
2.1 Definition of SEN Member
An SEN Member refers to any individual or organization that has registered for and created an account on the SEN website.
2.2 Membership Tiers
SEN currently offers the following membership tiers:

SEN Corporate Premium Member

These Terms & Conditions apply to all membership tiers unless otherwise expressly stated.
2.3 Eligibility and Registration
SEN membership is open to individuals and organizations, including but not limited to professionals, students, institutions, and other parties interested in engaging with the SEN network.
By registering for an account, you represent and warrant that all information provided during the registration process is true, accurate, current, and complete. You agree to maintain and promptly update such information as necessary to ensure its continued accuracy.
2.4 Voluntary Participation
Registration as an SEN Member does not create any contractual obligation, financial commitment, or mandatory participation requirement. Participation in SEN activities, services, and programs is entirely voluntary, and members may determine their own level of engagement with the SEN network.
However, SEN Premium Membership and SEN Corporate Premium Membership involve a financial commitment in the form of an annual membership fee. SEN Members who subscribe to these tiers agree to pay the applicable membership fee as stated on the SEN Membership page on the SEN website. Each payment grants access to the selected membership tier for a period of one (1) year from the date of activation.
2.5 No Guaranteed Services or Outcomes
SEN membership in SEN does not entitle members to any guaranteed services, benefits, opportunities, or outcomes. SEN may introduce, modify, suspend, or discontinue any services, programs, events, or membership benefits at its sole discretion and without prior notice.
2.6 Suspension and Termination
SEN reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to suspend, restrict, or terminate any member account if it reasonably believes that the member has violated these Terms & Conditions, misused the SEN platform, or engaged in conduct that may harm SEN, its members, or the broader community.
2.7 Account Deactivation or Deletion
​SEN members may request to deactivate or delete their SEN account at any time without penalty. Upon receipt of such a request, SEN will process the account removal within a reasonable timeframe.
3. Privacy and Consumer Information
3.1 Data Collection
By creating an SEN Member account or submitting any forms through the SEN website, you acknowledge and agree that SEN may collect, process, and store personal information provided by you during the registration process or through subsequent interactions with the platform.
Such information may include, but is not limited to, your name, email address, contact details, professional background (where applicable), and any other information that you voluntarily provide through the website or related services.
3.2 Data Sharing and Privacy
SEN values your privacy. However, to provide you with the full benefits of SEN network:

You acknowledge that your information may be shared with SEN partners (including educational institutions, service providers, and corporate affiliates) for promotion and marketing outreach.
3.3 Purpose of Collection
The information collected will be used for the following purposes:

To send announcements, event information, monthly email updates, SEN partner updates, and administrative notices related to SEN activities and services.

To manage participation in SEN programs, events, workshops, or services, including registration, attendance tracking, and follow-up communication.

To respond to inquiries, requests, or issues raised by SEN members and provide appropriate assistance.
4. Communications and Marketing Consent
By creating an SEN Member account or submitting any forms through the SEN website, you explicitly consent to receive promotional communications from SEN. These communications may include announcements, event information, monthly email updates, SEN partner updates, and administrative notices related to SEN activities and services.

Opt-out: SEN Members may unsubscribe from all or selected email communications at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” or “Manage Preferences” link at the bottom of SEN emails, or by contacting SEN directly.
5. User Conduct
As a SEN member, you agree not to:

Use the SEN platform for any unlawful purpose.

Post or transmit any content that is defamatory, offensive, or infringes on intellectual property rights.

Attempt to scrape or collect data from other SEN members without authorization by SEN.
6. Limitation of Liability
SEN provides a platform for SEN members to submit and publish content such as job postings, events, and other opportunities. While SEN reserves the right to review, moderate, edit, or remove any submission at its discretion, all submissions remain solely the responsibility of the submitting SEN member. SEN acts only as a platform provider and assumes no liability for the accuracy, legality, or outcomes arising from any submission.
SEN does not guarantee the availability, reliability, or uninterrupted operation of its website, services, or activities, and shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from technical issues, third-party services, or circumstances beyond SEN’s reasonable control.
7. Amendments
SEN reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Significant changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the SEN website. Your continued use of the membership after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
